About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced blockchain infrastructure and DeFi protocols. You’ll work on cutting-edge systems built on Substrate and/or Solana.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop blockchain protocols using Substrate and/or Solana
• Lead design decisions for scalability, consensus, and network performance
• Build and optimize on-chain programs and runtime modules
• Guide and mentor engineers on protocol design and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research and product

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, with strong protocol or blockchain experience

• Proven track record building trading platforms, execution engines, or exchanges (DEX or centralized).

• Contributions to Rust-based L1 protocol projects (e.g., Solana, Cosmos SDK, Substrate).

• Deep understanding of distributed computing principles, including consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer (P2P) networking, and high-performance data structures.

• Deep knowledge of decentralized trading models (on-chain order books, AMMs, hybrid architectures).

Nice to Have

• Experience launching or contributing to mainnet blockchain networks
• Knowledge of DeFi ecosystems and tokenomics
• Background in cryptography or formal verification
